About Reece - The Renegade Gourmet

So who is The Renegade Gourmet?

Marc Reece (A.K.A) Reece is the creator and producer of "Cooking for the Culinary Impaired" heard every Saturday Morning on WCRN AM 830. The 50,000 watt station broadcasts throughout New England.

Reece graduated with honors from Johnson and Wales University with a degree in the pastry arts. He chose Johnson and Wales because he wanted to take his love of cooking to the next level. Reece states "I have always loved to cook; on the same token I knew there were smarter ways to get the job done. (He is generous with his tips, tricks and hints, leaving all the typical cooking rhetoric behind.) Recipes are just guidelines and that's what we are trying to get across on the web site and the show."

Reece is very passionate about wanting to bring families back around the dinner table again, to laugh, talk, and to relate about the days events (just ask his 3 year old daughter). "This is just something that doesn't happen much anymore due to today's hectic lifestyles." Reece proclaims.

Besides adding The Renegade Gourmet to his resume; Reece also owned and operated The Wellesley Bread Company in Wellesley, Massachusetts and headed up the baking department for the University of Massachusetts at Lowell. Reece's passion extends into consulting for restaurant owners, teaching them how to maximize profits and maximize the capacity of their kitchen and staff. He has been known to assist and teach people who are looking to buy or get into the bakery business.

The Renegade Gourmet offers onsite catering and private cooking classes for children and adults.
